The meeting was called to order by Vice-President Bill Dunlevy at 7:00 after our monthly potluck.  42 attended and 3 were new members.Minutes and Tres. Report were read.  A correction of the Rock show dates was made by Greg Durocher.  It will be a three day event on November 5-7.

Old Business –Gold Show – Linda reported that the Golden Nugget RV Park is available for July 20-22.  Bill D. reported the Crow Creek Mine would be available most any weekend.  Discussion was held about dates.  Some members felt July might be too late to fit their mining plans for the summer.  Bill requested volunteers to head committees.  Bill Bear volunteered to chair the publicity committee.  He felt the radio interviews were helpful.  A survey at the registration table in 2009 indicated word of mouth brought most of our attendees. There were no other volunteers for chair of siteing, vendors, or donations.  Bill D. said he planed to have 2-3,000 salted bags and sell them for $10 each.

Dale Porkorney’s box is complete and will be sent to his mother.  The box was made by Ken Orr’s father.

New Business – A new miming opportunity was described by Bill D.  An Alaska claim holder will return to Alaska in April.  He would like 5-6 people to work his claim near Tok for a 50 % cut of the findings.

Announcements – A list of our member’s names will be sent to Temecula.

The Colorado Creek GPAA claim has come to the attention of the Forest Service and discussed at the AMA small claims committee meeting. ATV access only is allowed.  A 4 inch dredge is allowed if it is on the plan of operations.

A new BLM gold panning booklet was passed out.  They also have a booklet on filing a claim on federal lands.

December 30th is the deadline to have paperwork for claims filed.  Bill suggested to file early in case more information is requested.

Bill Dunlevy has a DVD of the Gold Fever Camp in the Chicken area.  It uses air boat transport to access their tent camp.  Equipment is available.
